The digital passport initiative from Apple could streamline international travel significantly, especially given TSA PreCheck integration. What's intresting is the privacy implications since biometric data would be stored on device rather than centrally managed like traditional passports. However, border control agencies will need to update their infrastructure substantially to accept digital credentials at immigration checkpoints.
