Political status determines jurisdiction. Nationality is a choice. And we live in a dual system of Law, the de facto and de jure. The slave (de facto) and the free man under a guaranteed republic (de jure).
Ypu will always be presumed a citizen of the de facto until you testify/declare/prove you are de jure only. No dual citizenship, no contracts with the de facto, no rebellion to your nation-state in Law.
